first off taarabt is a massive dick (as discussed earlier)
but from what I'm hearing Taylor is done (2-3 days time will be announced)
Erdinc looks likely but may take a month
Barnetta Strongly linked but nothing concrete
personally would be over the moon with those three maybe throw in Long or M'Bengue for good Measure

2 strikers (Erdinc + someone else) and 2 left backs (M'Bengue and Taylor) is all I'd want. Sell Perch, Smith (and Best and Ranger, although I'd keep those two). Would also sell Forster as well as I dont see a future here for him, maybe offer him in part exchange for Izzaguirre (instead of M'Bengue) if he has the Carr seal of approval.

  3. Taarabt is an over rated piece of ****, he can go **** himself.

Nzogbia, as much as i'd like him to come to us, skybet suspended betting not because he's definitely coming to us, but because they received a high amount of bets on him to come to Newcastle

This. And I hope we are NOT linked to Kuyt! Yes, he's a very good finisher & hard worker but lacks pace & isn't getting any younger. <ok>

I'd have him, personally. Ba, Erdinc, Kuyt, Shola and Lover for next season is pretty strong.

I'd also really like to see the Sturridge loan happen, but it's not too likely.

Taarabt seems like a complete arse so don't want him. We need a couple of strikers, another winger and ideally another RB and maybe a CB.

Taarabt is a smelly willy and we don't really need him if we're going 4-5-1/4-3-3, don't think he'd play second fiddle to Ben Arfa.

IMO we still need Lb cover (Naylor) and a new one if Jose goes.
    1 or 2 strikers (Erdnic + another)

Then replacements for any future developments, maybe another winger as well.

doubt we'll get this but i'd like to see
    1xFWD
    1xRW
    1xCB
    1xRB

looks like naylor is a cert as LB cover and if jose goes we'd need another LB obv.

think if we get those we'd have a pretty strong squad
will be a few leaving as well (smith, ranger etc.)

If Taraabt signs, the number of hissy fits we'll have to put up with over our crowded midfield will be ridiculous. No thank you
