Jose was always a long shot, Koeman was always the more realistic target and was Moshiri's choice from the managers spoken to originally. Monchi has nothing to do with the managerial appointment and that's still ongoing. I don't quite understand your point.
No point to make, the Sevilla manager was the one he wanted last week. Now he plans to make Koeman the highest paid manager in our history and I feel it will be a short term appointment as he has his eye on Arsenal, Barca job in the medium term
Emery rejected the offer made and Koeman came back to the table after rejecting us last Tuesday. If Koeman ends up being offered the Barca job it'll be because he's done a great job at Everton....that's football.

I agree to be fair to the saints the structure they have seems to be spot on...Had a good season even after Liverpool pinched their best players too
Not sure if he would look to go and get some players from Southampton. Not that they wouldn't be good enough, just I feel he won't leave them with a summer of recruitment as he had his first year.

Great, great manager, imo, and I said so last summer when names were being bandied about to replace Rogers last summer. Sound choice (but I did rate Martinez very highly too).
