Plenty of names in the frame; Pelligrini De Boer Koeman Emery Favre Not sure I'd want Pelligrini, my choice would still be Koeman, but that's looking unlikely now. Emery has done brilliantly with Sevilla, but his English isn't the best, so that'd be a major stumbling block
That wasn't a stumbling block for Poch at Southampton. I may well have been tempted to back him pre EL final. De Boer seems the likely choice with Koeman eying a bigger job, Arsenal after this coming season. De Boer is looking to be another Martinez, attractive football......but is he good enough?
I've got massive reservations about De Boer tbh. The Ajax fans weren't bothered when he left, and he's leaving Bergkamp and Stam in Holland. He'd be a huge gamble and one we shouldn't take imo. True about Poch, it took him about 2 years to get a grasp of the language.
Emery Mourinho Koeman De Boer Moyes Spot the odd one out....... He's got more chance of ousting Klopp than getting his arse back in the Goodison hot seat, Bill would probably still take him back, but fortunately Bill is no longer calling the shots, and Moyes doesn't fit Moshiri's brief.
If im honest its only Koeman id really like from those...Maureens a no no anyway hes off to old toilet De Boer's style is similar to the one everyone hated last season.. Emery didnt win away for a whole season? Moyes would be going baackwards... So who do i want then? I dunno lol
He's looking to take Everton to a level that was unimaginable a few years back. Talking to managers of the calibre of Mourinho shows the level of his ambition. He's looking to appoint a top end manager, and Moyes doesn't fit that description. The words used to me, was that this summer will be like no other in Evertons history - as he's going to back the new man with considerable funds.
He's going to back the club with incremental cash over and above the current turnover, and revenue raised from sales.
