Think we have a friendly against Denmark in Feb. As Pride says Barton and Nolan deserve to be in. But, you have to remember we have Postman Pat picking the team. Ala Fabio Capello! Would love Simpson and Stevie Harper to get a well earned call up too !
I'd prefer none of them to get picked to stay fresh and more importantly fit for our push for Europe.
Carroll was going to be in the squad but might still be out then, who knows?
Barton and Nolan should be in there without question, but wont be and as someone has said Simpson and Harper wouldnt look out of place (Simpson > Johnson, and Harper would be backup to Hart.)

beardsley - I sometimes feel the same, on the other hand, it's an honour for the lads AND it encourages the club's profile (look how many internationals we have etc.)
Plus, it gives me a reason to watch the games, I really don't feel like I have a vested interest when watching the dross we turned out in the summer!
