Klinnsman is now 5/1 favourite for the job !
THat would disappoint me if he were to be named.
Klinnsman is now 5/1 favourite for the job !
Look on the bright side though.A poll on the beeb text had Hoddle first and Kneecap 2nd choice.........FFS.
True, but they had some great players in that side. They probably had at least 4 or 5 world class players,we currently have none !What we need is a manager who can get us through the qualifiers; i.e. one who can negotiate the a random selection of weak teams who have fallen out of the FSU and Yugoslavia over a two year period. I actually think my mother could probably do this.......and then a manager to run the team at the finals when you have many games in a short space of time. The finals job would appeal to the best Managers around in club football at the time as it would not interfere with their club football; so Pep or Jose could be short listed for example.
and BTW this is not a novel idea as the Dutch did this in the 70's and they weren't bad teams.
Because Rooney was out injured for that game, once he was fit again that knob Hodgson put him straight back in,****ing up everyone else who had to play in a totally different position ! clueless and gutless from the manager. What I'd really like to know is what happened to the team that beat Germany 3-2 a couple of months back? We outplayed the World Champions in their own back yard yet that line-up never saw the light of day again...
Allardyce in talks with the FA.
Underwhelmed.
NOOOOOOOOO! not Big Sam! That will end in more tears.
At least England have a better chance of not being relegated with Alladyce in charge!!!!!!!!!!
Is this really the best the FA could come up with? God help us........
If the rumours are true that they want him to mentor Gary Neville while doing the job,i'm gonna have the right raving hump.Neither of those clueless brothers should be allowed to have any coaching role at any club, yet alone England ffs.Just look at our defending from throw ins in this last tournament !I don't think there are any English managers suited for the job Tramore. The highest placed English manager last season was Alan Pardew at 15th-placed Crystal Palace, with Eddie Howe at Bournemouth in 16th and Sam Allardyce at 17th-placed Sunderland.
I can't think of any working abroad either. At least Allardyce won't put up with any crap from the players or the FA. That's about the only positive I can muster.
Would also be my choice, but I wouldn't be upset by Klinnsman either.I would like to see Eddie Howe. He is young, fresh and has ideas for the future. I don't care if it takes 2 tournaments, we need someone with vision not some old hag like a Redknapp or Big Sam
Would also be my choice, but I wouldn't be upset by Klinnsman either.
I posted earlier on this thread about Klinsmann and he was my choice. Not anymore. From what I've read about him he's as clueless as Hodgson and the US can't wait to get rid of him.

We wouldn't lose a penalty shoot-out with Klinsmann![]()
