All he's done so far is avoid relegation. Perhaps he'd prefer a promotion push. Not much between the top of div 1 and bottom of the Championship.
Spurs we're awful, not just that game, the whole season. They got relegated but bounced back up the next season. The Barrybados pitch did nothing for their silky skills. As to be expected, it all kicked off afterwards. Spurs fans were put in the enclosure in front of the Grandstand. Many got out early and attacked City fans coming off the Grange End. The only time I've seen spectators pick up police dogs and throw them back at the police. Poor doggies.
It was a rare FA Cup run with this win against a poor Spurs team who got relegated then a dramatic win v Wrexham but one shy of a quarter final we conceded an early lead and lost to Everton.
william - I have it on good authority Michael Beale will be the next manager of the Bluebirds https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Beale_(football_coach)
BT - if you're that certain you can still get 16/1 on Beale. Have a go and you can blame your source if it doesn't come off. Meanwhile, ex Bolton boss Ian Evatt is now the new clear favourite at 2/1 this morning. EDIT - more on him from Wiki.................sounds like our new messiah. "Evatt frequently decides against naming a substitute goalkeeper on the bench, preferring to have more attacking options and has had outfield players do goalkeeping training, just in case. Evatt will sometimes bring on attacking players when winning matches rather than defensive players, preferring to score more goals than defend a lead."
Vince's type of man. Never mind giving outfield players 'keeping practice, get the keepers doing finishing practice.
Again!!! Apart from a good win percentage at Rangers (where the only real competition was Celtic) his managerial career has been average at best, if that. Very uninspiring. Shades of Russell Slade.
Objectively let’s be frank here; we’re now a 3rd tier team and with amateur club administrators and an owner who is disconnected to the club, so it’s hard a sell to potential managers.
But they have an objective. Get back to the championship as soon as possible. As with all businesses, the what is the easy bit. The hard bit is the how.
