In my opinion enough players have now returned from injury for Lenagan to make good on his comments that he would only judge Wilder with a fit squad!

League games will come thick and fast in Nov & Dec
Barnet (A)
Northampton (H)
Aldershot (H)
Morecambe (A)
Fleetwood (H)
Exeter (A)
Wimbledon (A)

With the teams we’re playing 12 points from the next 7 league games has to be the absolute minimum for Wilder to stay on as manager, anything below that and we’re not a top half of the league side let alone aiming for play offs!

Don’t get me wrong I like Wilder and thank him for getting us out of the conference, but we want to move forward and it’s about results and points at the end of the day!

Yet another 2 points dropped last night and now with Mullins being recalled by Rotherham I simply cannot see where our next win is coming from

We have to beat teams like Aldershot if we're going to climb up the league. On paper we have a decent side yet the performances have been well below par for weeks now. It's no coincidence that attendances are falling each game if we serve up that kind of drivvle every Saturday.

Rant over

Well we got 12 points... Just!

January features 4 games against promotion contenders.

I'm really hoping for a good start to the second half of the season.

Is 6 points too much to expect?

Oxford United are well known for having a good half of a season and a bad half. Last season we had a good first half and poor second half and so far this season we have had a poor first half to the season making 2012 a sorry year for the U's. If we are going to have a typical Oxford United season then we could expect improved performances going into 2013.

You could be right, a great result against Cheltenham today! Hopefully we can continue to build and finish the season in the top half of table
