3 away games followed by 3 home games. how many points do you think we will get/

Away; blackpool, Leeds, Huddersfield.

I think we will beat blackpool and the weeds and draw with Huddersfield, so 7 points.

home; Leicester, Brizzle, Brighton.

I think we will win against Leicester and Brizzle and draw with Brighton.
That would give us 14 points from a possible 18 and put us on 71 points with 13 to play.
Even 12 points would see us on 69. (One of my fav numbers)

Remember, as was mentioned on another board, Leicester need to win 4 games more than us to catch us and if we win against them they will need 5.
so although folks say we need to win 12 games just remember if we win 10 of the remaining 19 then Leicester will need to win 14 or 15, and Hull will need to win at least 13. so it is harder for them every point they drop.
Every time one of the chasing pack matches our result they still need the same games to catch us but 1 less to do it in
And every game we don't have our famous blip makes it harder for them to catch up.
We will WIN!

The way Leicester are playing currently and the way we performed yesterday will see our positions reversed quite quickly.

Neither us or Ipswich were that good yesterday, all we did was cancelled each other out in the middle of the park and both sides looked more afraid of conceeding than scoring. Both managers holding onto a run of games. Other top sides will beat Ipswich at home. Yesterday we were way off the pace and I begin to wonder if the rest between games works against us.
 
We will get 12 points from the next 6 games to kep us on course to go up as champions.
A couple of blips along the way but we will make it.
 
We won't win every game and will have some blips along the way. It is how we respond that counts and every time we have blipped this season we have come back fighting. That is why we are where we are despite having not played well for the last 5 or 6 weeks.

I agree. We haven't been playing well and if we have a setback this team just bounces back.

Unlike a Jones team - Sorry Taff.<laugh>
 
I will write the Ipswich game off, it was a typical McCarthy line up, put 9 men behind the ball and hope for a bit of luck, all of his teams are boring. As for the next 6 games i think we will get 11 or 12 points and that will be good enough, as the rest of the teams around us will be taking points off each other. Rudy was truely awful on saturday. Start with Mason he is more than good enough, and give veronika a go from the bench.
 
HH should definitely have his starting place back imo.

Agree with Isaw about a 'typical' Mccarthy performance, he's a horrible manager, results yes, but I'd never chose to pay to watch one of his sides play.
 
The next 6 games....... Blackpool D, Leeds D, Huddersfield W, Leicester D, Bristol W, and Brighton D. 10 points. Anything more will be a plus. Leicester need to beat us, we don't need to beat them, so more pressure on them.Same with Brighton, if they want play off's. So if we take 10 points and stay unbeaten, I'll be happy.
