I have but that does not cloud my judgement.

I am not saying categorically that you will not win either or both of them, because it is possible on any given day to beat them but remember your woeful away record + Blackburn are playing much better than their results suggest, especially at home. Hence I think they might beat you

Villa - Think it easy if you wish but only a fool would take such a game for granted. Their strikers have pace that can undo most defences.

Am I alone in thinking we're going to make Blackburn look really poor? I'm thinking it's going to be like Millwall away last year...

I have little doubt that you guys will do what you nearly always do - pass the ball round and get them chasing shadows in midfield but they will hit you on the counter if you try to do that for the entire game. I think a lot will depend on two key factors.
    1. How well you can penetrate their defence once you have played the ball around.
    2. How well you can handle their attack.

Thai, if people on here are taking things for granted it doesn't mean that Brendan and the team are , they firmly have their feet on the ground and know what to expect. Blackburn away is going to be a tough game, but I think we have it in ourselves to win that game, villa at home will bring a different test, but I can see us getting all the points also.

As for our away form, look who we have played away, we got an unexpected point at Liverpool and lost to the other top teams, like yourselves, we played you and got well beaten, and the wolves game we got a point as well , should have been 3 but we fell asleep in the last few minutes of the game. The only woeful game out of them all was at Norwich , so don't just look at the results and say woeful , I watched each game you didn't !

ok Jager, the word woeful is perhaps incorrect in terms of performances because largely you have played well, certainly for decent periods of those games but the apparent inability to see an away game out is what I was getting at. The Wolves game is a perfect example. Yes, they were always going to fight back at some point, or at least try to. That is where the Swans need to toughen up a bit when playing away.

It wasn't BR & the team I was talking too <laugh> I know fans can easily get carried away with what is going on so far this season but it does make me cringe when I see comments such as "I expect 3 points" from today's game, or easy home win these week lads etc, Blackburn away - 3 points.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it smacks of arrogance on the part of Swans fans as I do not believe you guys are that way inclined but it indicates an ill conceived confidence <ok>

Musty you know damn well the reason why it was deleted, calling someone a tosser because of your inability to counter an argument will be out of here, so don't involve thai in this as its disrespectful to him

Come on Thai , as football fans we will always predict our teams to win, not many will say ok we are going to get slaughtered ;) I mean I had us down to beat utd at home lol , don't think it's arrogant just optimistic

You might not believe this but the majority of ours, this season at any rate, do not <yikes>

I think just one person went for a cheeky 2-1 home win against Arsenal last week, only 1 said we might be Villa away. Our lot are either very realistic or just very pessimistic - will let you call that one <laugh>

Considering how well we have played this season, I honestly believe every one of those matches is winnable on it's own. There's really nothing to scared of there.... If we can get a draw away to Liverpool - a game which we could have won, why would we think we can't do any better against any of those sides?

Villa 3 (if they play anything like they did on Monday this game will not be as difficult as people think!)
Blackburn 3 (First away win :) watching the game against Stoke as we speak and its very boring and very much like Stoke's and we had no trouble with them)
Fulham 1 (would love to say 3 but i think they will be too organised in defence and we will need to be at our best defensively to keep them out)
Newcastle 0 (they keep the form they have at the minute i cant see us getting anything)
Everton 0 (Totally depends on what everton team turns up as they can beat anyone @ home, putting 0 but think we could snatch a draw)
QPR 3 (this is anyones but im putting 3 as i would love us to beat them lol)

so that makes 10 out of 18 points and us on 23 just after xmas with a tough game v spurs to see out 2011. 23 points by them and taking points from the teams currently in and around us...i'll be happy with that!

if we lose more and only get a couple of points i dont think it will be make or break as we do not know who we are going to bring in in the new year. If these games were in Feb then yeah they would prob be make or break

I think as games go on they are getting deeper and deeper in the brown stuff, and I don't wish anything bad on any team but now is a very good time to play them, they were dire today . If Wigan don't get a result today they are even in deeper ****e.

I said on our board, the way it's going we only have to avoid 18th place now, the other 2 places are filled already <laugh>

All my eggs in one basket in December ...... 4 wins a loss & a draw for 13 pints , 3 clean sheets from the Villa game leading up to the Spurs game . I base this solely on how well weve been playing the top clubs & the confidence built from those games
