It changes every week but I predict Fulham, Norwich and West Brom. Nobody, including Swans, Hull, Villa, Stoke is out of the mire. It's going to be a tense few weeks!
February and April are really tough months for us. Esp Feb. But like I said as far back as August when folk were already selling us down the river. No matter how tough the games come, Our Home game run in puts us in a far better position than the rest. At the moment, I fancy us to nick points at the big clubs as well.
I would be worried if I was a Villa or West Brom fan, but out of those Cardiff look in the most trouble to me. Palace, West Ham and Cardiff will be the three I think will go. There are still issues at Cardiff, West Ham have loads of injuries and the fans are not behind Sam. Palace just don't have the quality and have had their little resurgence under the manager. There are 10 teams still in trouble though and if we don't pick up some points in the next 2 games were bang in trouble again.
I don't think Fulham are actually that bad. Not good, but not really bad. Cardiff are really in it and Palace look short of quality, despite Pulis's organizational nous. West Ham are still nostril-deep in it anarl, but I expect another candidate to come forward with a bad run shortly. Dunno who, but is seems to happen every year.
Sorry to disappoint you lads, but Hull City are not in the bottom 10. Also with the signing of Jelavic and possibly Long this week I'm petty sure we'll be o.k.
Got nowt against Hull. The only disappointment is the need to find three below us come May. I'd cheerfully have you as one, but as long as there's three I really couldn't give a ****. Anyway, FYI, you are in the poop pro tem. It's not the position that's bad, it's simply being one of the eleven teams within 6 points of each other at the bottom. Seen relegation close up too many times not to know the danger signs...
and Steve Bruce teams are notorious for losing there form just about now..................that withstanding, I think and hope Hull will be okay, surely he has learn't his lessons
Well, I'm sure their combined 5 goals this season will strike the fear of the Gods into the rest of the EPL...Lol Also, you are 10th on 23 points, which is a mere 6 points from the bottom and 5 from a relegation spot. You can say it whichever way you like but the words "I'm pretty sure we'll be o.k." may be the ones to come back and nip you on the arse by May. You are far from being ok which is the same for every team from 10th downwards.
We're playing some pretty good stuff under Bruce. We held Chelsea comfortably for 65 mins yesterday and were only undone by 2 pieces of pure quality. I can see us getting around 8 points from our next 6 games which would be a good return. There's also some serious negative GD's to consider.
I agree your playing some good stuff, I have enjoyed watching your games on the TV. We beat Chelsea and Man City and Man Utd and were still in the ****. Playing good stuff does not always guarantee safety, I mean look at Stoke under Pulis, they were terrible but they always stayed up.
Been a pretty decent weekend really (or week) and far from the media darlings now saying we are down and that only 1 club has been bottom at Christmas and survived, the talk is which of the bottom 11 clubs are going to be relegated. With 6 points between a cracking 10rh place finish and bottom of the pile, with 17 games to go, I don't think ANYONE can honestly call who it will be. Including ourselves, there are compelling arguments both for and against all 11 clubs being one of the 3 candidates and none of them can be sleeping too well tonight. I think having weathered our disastrous start, we are coming on a strong run of form under Gus now and have a bit of a headwind. With a couple of new faces in and maybe another 2 to come I think we will improve even further.
Means nowt at this stage of the season. Your next 6 games could be really dodgy and you could be much closer to Sunderland than you'd like by the time Hull come to the North. Hull aren't great away from home and have 4 out of the next 6 away. Norwich v Hull Crystal Palace v Hull Hull v Tottenham Sunderland v Hull Hull v Southampton Cardiff v Hull But it's usually home matches that decide relegations and Hull still have Tottenham, Southampton, Newcastle, Man City, Arsenal & Everton to play. You look safe, in 10th spot, but it's points that count and I'd bet good money you won't be 10th for long.
I remember Bruce going on after he was sacked here about how he had finished 10th but we were not satisfied but conveniently left out that we were only 2 games aways in terms of points from relegation and that after a January to May form that almost cost us our EPL status. I think we were top 4 or 5 at that Christmas as well. Hull fans that think they have cracked it are in for a very hard fall from grace imo.
