9 from 9. 100%. No doubt. Never in question. Do bears **** in the woods. Is the Pope catholic? As sure as a sure thing. Nailed on. Definitely. As night follows day. Death and taxes. As certain as Greece gets 12 points from Cyprus every Eurovision and vice versa. 3 out of 3. Winner winner Christmas Dinner.

All the best folks

Well, the Blackburn game has become huge. If it takes us an age to get going/play with intent again, then we could be in trouble. It will cause the fans to get restless/nervous, which will likely transfer on to the players.

The league is very tight and as I said before, some really tough games coming up after the FA Cup weekend. This is possibly the most winnable for a while!

The next 3 games are why I was worried about not getting much from these ones! Though saying that, I fancy us on the 3 after that. Might have to do a ‘next 6 games’ thread <laugh>

The most important reason for beating Brum in the Cup is it would avoid having to play successive away games at Sunderland and Soton when we're in poor form, likely to be without key players and won't necessarily have got new players signed or bedded in. In fact a blizzard throughout January would be quite useful, especially on the North East coast.

Southampton have some lower league side at home so they should get through anyway
