West Brom - Win Swansea - Win QPR - Win Newcastle - Win Norwich - Win Liverpool - Win Reading - Win Sunderland - Win Fulham - Win Stoke - Win
I worked this out also and gave us 16 points, based on this; West Brom - Draw Swansea - Win QPR - Win Newcastle - Lose Norwich - Win Liverpool - Lose Reading - Win Sunderland - Sraw Fulham - Draw Stoke - Draw Lets hope im right!!
I do worry when I see people predicting anything other than a defeat vs WBA. Our away form is shocking, and this is not the old WBA yo-yo team. They're an established PL outfit now, and one who are having a very good start to the season. So for fans to be predicting we'll get something from there, I can only see it ending badly. More negativity, more pressure being put on Nigel, come 10pm Monday. And it would be undeserved in mind, because frankly WBA should be beating us at their place. So long as they don't destroy us, then I don't think there's any shame in us losing away to them. It's Swansea at hope that people should be getting their hopes up for - and will have ever right to feel negative should we lose.
Premier League West Brom V Southampton Draw Premier League Southampton V Swansea Win Premier League QPR V Southampton Draw Premier League Southampton V Newcastle Draw Premier League Southampton V Norwich win Premier League Liverpool V Southampton lose Premier League Southampton V Reading lose Premier League Southampton V Sunderland draw Premier League Fulham V Southampton lose Premier League Stoke V Southampton win That's 13 points. I also have us unbeaten in the next 5. I'm so bloody optimistic.
Another queastion. Despite if we win or lose; how many clean sheets? I go for 2 vs West Brom & Norwich.
Ages ago on another thread, I had us down for 17 points by the turn of the year. Can't remmeber what games I went with, but I'll stick by it. 17 points by then and then 18-21 after the new year and we stay up. Come on you reds.
Didn't think about this but the headlines for this game are going to be great, aren't they. Holt VS Lambert
I'm looking forward to our game at your place also. Both teams will be going for the win and both sets of fans will be wanting (I won't say expecting) wins. It's going to be a very tasty encounter.
trying to be objective I'd say West Brom - lose Swansea - win QPR - draw Newcastle - draw Norwich - win Liverpool - lose Reading - Win Sunderland - draw Fulham - lose Stoke - Lose
To be honest that kind of scoreline wouldn't be a surprise.Holt and Lambert are old mates apparently and I am looking forward to this fixture.Last time I saw this game at Southampton in was Shannon v MacDougall.
I think it's time we got an unlikely and undeserved win....I'd settle for that. I am not putting all my hopes on it, but WBA aren't Arsenal, Chelsea or Man City. A draw and a win against Swansea would do nicely.
Here's mine - West Brom - L Swansea - W QPR - D Newcastle - L Norwich - W Liverpool - L Reading - D Sunderland - D Fulham - L Stoke - L 9 points, no clean sheets.
Indeed. And we may well get something. I wouldn't be gob-smacked if we did. But I can just see some people having another backlash at the team and Nigel if we do lose, because they've been anticipating us getting something for this game. Realistic expectations. Realistic after-thoughts.
