Oh no not Mclean injured..... Whatever will we do. :emoticon-0107-sweat

I think he'll go with Fryatt - Adebola, would prefer Simpson - Fryatt but just have a feeling he'll stick the big up front to start then bring Simpson in later in the game.

Great. Dont give that southern git anymore attention., Main focus has to be on the friday game for sure.
He can wait until next week.

Patience. NP on radio humberside @ 5.25pm sports desk seamed calm about the situation. Wonder why ?

McLean has a slight calf strain so wont be risked...NP confirms. No point as we have many options up top.

Game time is getting closer folks.

Agree. Blackpool not the best defence and no real height or muscle either.

That was my thinking, get some muscle up there so we can get down the wings and whip some balls in for him to nod one in or bring it down for Fryatt.

He was effective after half time last week so there's no way that's true.

No chance, we'll be back to lumping it at that Hobbit McLean (when he's back).

If rumours are to be believed, then I think he will have a lot of attention before the match sadly

I like Adebola too, hes a big unit and will do a job for us, would start Simpson though as I think he's got goals in him

I would like Adebola but i think he may very well go with 5 in midfield with Fryatt up top on his own. Anyone else?

I don't think 4-5-1 works for us, we've tried it before and we end up with Fryatt fighting for scraps and getting no where due to no support. It's such a negative formation in my mind 4-4-2 with the player options we have works well. We could go very attacking with a 4-3-3 and play something like-->

    Cairney-Evans-Mckenna
    Brady-Fryatt-Koren

Not a very nice comment about one of our players.

Interesting one - we're all basing our line-ups on a 4-4-2 formation, which is very likely for the opening games at least, but I think that team you mention has potential...

Adebola hasn't actually played both sides of half time in a game yet, but hardly anyone has. But I don't think we should rule out that he will be starting the odd game. Even Barmby started the odd game last year (and was our best player at Donny having started).

I really have no preference for this game.

I thought he started the 2nd half against Chesterfield after the playing the 1st, but obviously he had just had a very heavy orange at the break so didn't move until subbed a little later...

Chesterfield. He was involved in lots of link ups with Fryatt before and after half time. He most certainly wasn't ****ed after 20 minutes.

Looking at the team news on the OWS I don't think Simpson is going to be risked from the start, as he only trained yesterday after picking up his knock. I think it'll be Fyatt and Adebola
