Sorry saw that after.
Betty’s in York do some very nice teas. And cakes ! I like their white tea .. without milk
Definitely strong coffee, the stronger and bitter the better for me. I love what they do in Italy, a short, sharp, shock of coffee.
Not keen on earl grey but I do like good tea. That said for convenience and ease it’s Yorkshire tea bags for me everyday.
I’ve been to Betty’s in Harrogate it is good isn’t it.

Admitidly I stopped with sugar in tea as a eleven year old
Went to stay at an aunts in Dublin and she wasn't keen on the ammount of sugar I was putting into my tea
She was a nurse
She tried saccharine tablets and after two cups of **** tasting tea I stopped adding anything other than milk
Never looked back but I still need sugar in coffee
