Hi Woops & mates,
Prognosis is as such….
The impact from the Nurf bullet sent shockwaves around the whole eye.
If you think of a bullet blowing out the back of a pillow or alike, the impact blew out the back of my blue iris which was floating around.
As the surgeon went in thru the enlarged black pupil, the iris parts floating around tried to escape out of the pupil. She had to repackage those floating parts back to the iris.
The cataract webbing was detached in various places and a new lens was installed. They can’t do anything about the remaining eye socket damage. They are hoping the lens doesn’t give way ( so do l ! ).
l can see better for the one being but the next six weeks will hold the key. Quite painful at present but Dr Gin may be able to assist in measures doses.
