half time and from what i heard we been ****e. offered nothing going forward apart from 1 chance. when we clear its coming straight back at us as the midfield and forwards cant keep the ball. certain players need to step up. newport are bossing everything and i be very disappointed if i was a newport fan that its only 1-0.
Right. Something's got to change in the 2nd half - by the sound of it we're being entirely dominated by Newport and, as usual this season, we're not creating any chances. Gill and Brunt on? Who should go off....Lockyer? Clarkson?
Not sure what everyone expects we only have Richards up front who does not hold the ball up well and Ward persists with JJ playing alongside him when he needs to be in the centre of midfield we are just not going to get anything out of this game with what we have in the final third. In midfield Harrison is an attacking midfielder offering little in the way of cover to Brown leaving us vunerable in that space for Newport to exploit and Clarkson is not I repeat not a midfielder he is not quick enough or strong enough in the tackle!Norburn is a creative midfielder who needs JJ alongside him.Lockyear is still young did well in defence last week for Parkes but lacking in midfield today. Was hoping for a boring 0-0 as we do not have the fire power to trouble Newport. COR
norburn takes it and headed by parkes straight to richards 6 yards out who on the twist puts it over the bar!
Is there anyone match fit on the bench Brunty will get maybe 20 mins. Whilst I am not a Gill fan if he is ready bring him on for Lockyear after 10 mins of the second push Clarkson up front with Elliot Richards then bring on Brunt last 20 or so mins. Then finally Santos. COR
JJ fouled again and takes quick free kick to set smith free down the line and his cross was going to harrison but clearded before it reached him. good play by us.
