The odd thing is he claims to have told the team that he wished he could make 6 subs at half time but he waited until after Newcastle had scored their second goal to make any! Obviously Falcao did **** all but Willian was effective and later when Ramires came on he made a difference. Strange that he didn't make the subs earlier.
I think it's exaggerating for dramatic effect. Subs can impact games but so can forcing the players who played so badly first half to go back out and turn it around rather than scapegoating just 2-3.
I'd never start Oscar ahead of Willian, especially if Fabregas and Matic are both playing. Too static.
You Chelsea boys must be looking on with real envy at the ease with which Spurs beat City. We made them look foolish. Chelsea used to be able to do that. Not any more, though.
Are Chelsea fans not surprised that Hazard and Matic are playing well below their usual standard? And Fabregas Oscar and Willian too. It can't surely just be because they've won the title. This loss of form from so many players at the same time must be quite unusual.
