"I don't see why Nicky wouldn't be putting as much effort in if not more. As there will be scouts watching him"

I dont either? but he very clearly isn't

"Nicky is still giving 100% there is no doubt in that"

Seriously, What are some of you lot watching? Some of you proclaim to have the played the game at a decent level, well anyone who knows anything about football can clearly see that Nick Maynard is not giving his all by a country mile. good service from midfield needs to be generated from movement in front of them, taking defenders in to channels and making space for others. any striker should be able to head a crossed ball. I played up front for 25 years and I know when a striker is interested or not! (his team mates will too!)

Believe me, those who think Maynard is currently a "hard working player" are now very much in the minority!

Spot on Banksy, strikers love scoring goals, and they work there socks of to do so, Maynards have dried up, that tells you something.

Please drop him and move ourselves forward this weekend with a positive result.

Nicky has become the worst distraction for BCFC in many years and it should stop now. Whoever you blame for this ongoing debacle doesn't really matter because once it's over things will start to look brighter (believe me).

Let's hope that the future starts on Saturday.

Mr Bristol, I DID post about this in the summer. If you remember rightly I stated that Maynard would NOT sign and would run his contract out before going on a free.
I still hope I am wrong, but my gut feel is normally right.

I don't have any feelings for the guy, good or bad. He is paid to score goals and he isn't scoring. He won't commit to the club, so bye bye. Nothing personal - just business.
