Eddie Howe on Sven Botman: “Sven is another player to come back from a longer term injury. “He needs more individualised training to get him back to his best. “We may see him tomorrow.” Eddie Howe on Elliot Anderson: “It was a frustrating time for Elliot, but we are very glad to get him back. “We must be careful with him. “Since his rehab and getting back out on the grass, he has looked good. “He is strong and versatile. “We really wanted to get him on for penalties the other night and we know his qualities so was great to see him out there.” Eddie Howe on Matt Targett: “Matty might need a bit more time to get back, given his hamstring injury, but he is training now. “To get back to their absolute best, I think you need that period of training behind you.”
Difficult to know how good Tonali is in the prem since he didn't really play that much before getting banned. I thought he had a few good games, but I wasn't blown away. I really do think we need to finish in a european position this year to continue to keep and attract our best players. If we finish 8th or below we're losing Bruno and Trippier definitely.
Definitely not. Trippier is out best player IMO. More crucial. He's just hit a bit of bad form, but he's getting better.
A definite good influence but then so is Dummett and Ritchie. Trippier is not the player he was last season. No idea if it’s our style of play and the intensity but he’s lost a yard of pace, delivery of the ball is poor and even defensively he’s looking a bit more suspect (note that could be down to Schar).
No one even knows how good Tonali is. Looked great in his first game, then naff a few games later. We really have no idea how good or bad he is yet.
Sorry to correct but looked alright first game coz he scored a tap in and looked lost the other times.
Eh? Isak, Bruno, Joelinton, Botman? Potentially could be best, but hard to say he's the best right now.
Tonali is probably the best all around football player at the club...Guimareas Joelinton and Tonali are way ahead of the others.
