Leathered? At your place one of your thugs broke our star players legs a couple of minutes in, and you got all the decisions. At St James, we gave you a two goal lead and then deflected in the third. In neither game did you 'leather' us at all!

Hardly leathered. Controversial penalty at Eastlands helped you, and if we hadn't given you a 2 goal head start at SJP it would've been close.

are you referring to that tackle outside the box where Williamson got the ball? also, we should have had a penalty, it was obvious to everyone except the ref.

Agree wholeheartedly with this, I couldn't believe it when the ref gave a pen and refused us a stone wall one.

if you go by the season we were promoted then we are unbeaten at home against the 'top 4'

    Man u 0 - 0
    Chelsea 1 - 1
    Arsenal 4 - 4
    Spurs 1 - 1

Plus of course, DeJong should have been sent off!

And if he is giving them a pen, Williamson should be sent off, so no consistency, even though he did get the ball and it was outside the area.

You're probably right though, de Jong isnt the malicious type.

According to Wiki, Bolton have had one more season in the top flight ever since the creation of the top flight than Blackburn. We've had 73 and they've got 72, and we both formed at the same time, the creation of the football league.

    Get in.

Under normal circumstances I would agree with you totally. However, as the discussion was about Toon vs top 3 then there is only one other united that he could be talking about.

But valid point I hate the arrogance of Man U claiming ownership of the name United.
