John O'Shea won't be shaking former Sunderland mate Jack Colback's hand as he lines up for Newcastle in Tyne-Wear derby
Sunderland captain John O'Shea has said he will shun Jack Colback during pre-match handshakes
Colback moved from Sunderland to local rivals Newcastle in the summer
Newcastle take on Sunderland at St James' Park on Sunday afternoon
The Black Cats have won the last two meetings at Newcastle's ground
Colback made 135 appearances for Sunderland scoring five goals, including against Newcastle last season

I agree. Hope Gus has a word with him. He's supposed to be our captain.

I also agree but not entirely sure if that's what he's actually saying or papers stirring ****e. What he actually said was a throwaway line in the middle of the interview:

"Whatever happens afterwards – shaking hands – there'll be none of that beforehand."

Taken out of context the meaning could be quite different. The full article is here:

Good point. On further investigation thanks to yourself I'm declaring it bollocks in my head. They'll shake hands.

I think this is the kind of poor behaviour we expect from their lot. I'd be very disappointed if our club captain lowered himself to this kind of rubbish. Sportsmanship is very important and he should remember he's setting an example to many watching youngsters.

Shake his hand, no hugs or anything, then batter him and his cronies

9:00 - woke up. Went through all the emotions. Fear, doubt, joy, hope, excitement, nervous tension, etc. etc.

9:01 - cuppa tea.

Repeat.... (I bloody hate derby days)
