I think matty was ok but the 3 in midfield just allows the opposition to push down the flanks and Willems and maq struggled because of it and the longstaffs were being dragged out of position
Yeh you are right. It did seem to unbalance us in midfield. It would have been interesting to see how we would have done if we could have kept the mistakes out of our game though. We actually seemed to be getting good penetration before their first goal.
indeed we made too many mistakes , but that was through there intense pressure and tbh some good finishing …. other sides have had at least 2 or 3 golden chances and missed them all hence our league position.. I think the 1st 17 mins were more about them being slow out the blocks and figuring us out than us playing well. I hope we get back to rafas system because it works and nothing else bruce has tried does … the palace game we we're dreadful and got away with it , so I was worried he'd play the same system again and he did … I'm worried he will do it again today .
