Newcastle vs Blackburn - your team?

Just thinking, does no one feel Lovenkrands deserves a start after his 2 goals? Seems to have been overshadowed by the performance of Marveaux.

I didnt see the match so this comment will sound very unfair...but...

no chance, lovenkrands is terrible, getting slower, offsides, very weak on the ball.....i think play him over ameobi all day long but no over ba, best and HBA....yes he scored 2 last night a lovely header but the other one was from the spot which the keeper shouldnt of had....

Marv and Barfa will not start. Coming Back from lengthy injuries and played 60mins mid week. No need to rush them back. Pards will name the same team as the one that played so well against Villa.

 

If Ben Arfa isn't able to play two games in a week he should've been on the bench yesterday and starting on Saturday. I think he'll play.

I think Pardew's team will be unchanged from Villa if I'm being completely and utterly honest.

Maybe Marvo in for Obertan but that's about it.. I expect Hatem to play the last 20 mins or so also.

Wouldnt risk HBA just yet after his exploits last night. Give him the final 30mins depending on how the match is going.

 

Wouldnt start HBA, prefer to bring him on after an hour seeing as he played last night. I'm also about to break my golden rule about Jonas...

**I knw he's a left winger, I've been saying it for ages, but I dont see the point of playing inverted wingers and 2 6ft+ strikers. It doesnt make sense.

Marveaux deserves a start, bring Ben Arfa on at the 60th minute and then bring Obertan on later as Blackburns defence will be knackered.

 

Got to remember the same team that started at Villa also started against QPR and didn't do so great then!

After his performance against Forest, Marveaux deserves a chance. These guys are profesional footballers! I don't care if he is coming back from an injury they should be able to cope with a couple of fixtures a week!
