Pathetic first half performance and probably what I expected, As I said in earlier post we win a couple of games or play against a side below us and we think it will be ****ing easy. Pull your fingers out of your arse and put some effort in. Again I dont think we have had a meaningful effort on goal. When we have got the ball to Montero we look dangerous, but we just do not use him enough. Lets hope we improve second half, then again it couldn't get much worse.
If I could double like Valley's post I would. He's been here long enough to have assessed the weakness and do something about it!! No use saying we've always been poor at it. Get a grip valley, this is a team at home fighting for survival, the game is far from over, not Franco's fault our players are backing off and doing stupid things, as in Monty with his stupid attempts on goal, or were they chronically bad crosses, Ayew is a passenger again............
Guido picked the team. We are gutless and scared in attack. These NU players have no fight, no heart and we should have got straight at them. Looking at how we are playing, you'd think we are on the verge of going down. Chelsea performance was a ****ing fluke.
I actually expected a BETTER performance from Toon. We were undone by **** defending from a set piece AGAIN. That's what's annoying.
We look like a team that knows we are safe and has their bags packed ready to jet off to the sun.....Second half improvement is needed and if Guildo wants to be here next season then he had better show he is the boss.
How can a manager know when players are about to embark on a " Nightmare " game ? If Montero never started this game , there would have been a riot on here
Simply awful first half. Montero proves why he's be out for so long....a one trick pony that gets figured out. Ayew needs to either be moved to 9 instead of Paloschi or pulled in a straight swop for Barrow. Either way, he moves in off the wing too much and provides no width. Hopefully they will get a rocket at half time as it is not good enough....especially after last week. The only excuse is that maybe all the talk of takeover has messed with their heads.
