Well we do seem to play better against the top teams but the ones we have left are all fighting for the title or champions league

If the yanks didn't know how desperate we are for some quality players and a quality manager then use this game to judge us and not use the Chelsea game.....It has been a terrible season overall and we have luckily scraped home......

If Guidolin wants to play wide , he shouldn't start Ayew : see Monk's downfall .I feel we have walked past Ki to quickly after his injury .Rangel and Taylor are not our best way forward , and no perticular help on corners and set pieces . Routledge gets pencilled in first next game . Ki second . Naughton and Kingsley third and fourth .These performances have more to do with the consequences of probable safety and player misinterest than the manager IMO . Guys like Naughton , Kingsley , Barrow and Ki will show much more gumption and should be playing . Just an opinion. And I don't have a love for Guidolin , I do have a love for the 16 games he has under his belt and the credentials he brings with him , regardless of what happens now that we have averaged 1.5 points a game with his 12 games in charge .
You don' t have to tell Guidolin we were bad today , but maybe there were lessons he needed to see from this loss ...

Norwich have 4 games left while Newcastle have 5 . As soon as both teams lose 1 game we are safe .Does anyone really expect Norwich and Newcastle to win all their games ?
The manager is susceptible to players lack of will at this point , much like when Laudrup had 40 points in 28 games and the team lost their will .
Regardless who runs the team next season , they will have a tough summer to retool after this waverly
Road we've endured this season . I'll only say this , if Guidolin doesn't get the job , why was he here when Curtis had them doing pretty good . Am I totally happy with Guidolin , not by a long shot . But he has good managerial history and knows the transfer market .And if he leads us into the 2016 - 2017 season , it will be with a manager who did a lotta learning and hopefully did a lotta teaching in the summer .
Remember , he has been here a dozen games .

Sorry but I believe you never stop learning in anything and the moment you think you know everything is the time when you've become ignorant.

Guido is still learning about the premier league and today has been a big lesson. IMO it's how he responds after today will be an indicator of his managerial capabilities.

It's not all doom and gloom because it's highly highly highly unlikely that we'll be relegated can't see Newcastle beating man city, Tottenham and Liverpool Or Nowrich beating Arsenal and United.

    2 more than Gomis?

Ayew doesn't suit our style - best for all concerned to move him on in the Summer

'Today was not a good day' - Franco.

As so often has been the case this year, Swansea were the orchestrators of their own downfall. They were not demonstrably poor, but they shipped soft goals – two from set-pieces – and they missed chances. It doesn't matter if you're playing a team at the top of the league or the bottom, such a combination is going to cost you. Swansea were laboured on the ball, encouraged to keep possession by Newcastle after they had grabbed their first-half opener through Jamaal Lascelles, but unable to do much with it, the tempo of their play was just not quick enough to cause problems.

When they did have a period of pressure and created openings, the finishing touch wasn't good enough to truly trouble Karl Darlow in the Newcastle goal and a Toon defence that has been exposed so many times this season and begged to be again here. Ashley Williams fired wide, Bafetimbi Gomis blazed over and Jefferson Montero missed a clear shot on goal when the score was 1-0 and you wondered if a Swansea leveller would see nerves suffocate St James' Park.

Perhaps this was a result of the intensity slipping after a hard three months and a hard-earned 40 points. But it was a reminder that there is still work to be done with this side and underlined decisions taking this summer – with regard to manager and transfers – will definitely matter. - Chris Wathan

Top fans who deserve better. 3-0 flattered us, for sure, but we needed that bit of luck. I expect you to be much higher up the league next season <ok>

So that makes our manager a genius then when he moved Ayew on and down the middle and moved our top scorer in to a deeper role when we are chasing goals, brilliant manager and tactics.
