I do not think they will belittle either Newcastle or Sunderland our records were achieved through hard work and local talent not as is the case now how much wealth you have accumulated by devious means it must require a lot of talent to buy the best players in the world
OK over a few weeks now I have pointed out the superiority of Sunderland over her neighbour Newcastle IE their record in the premiere football league of England over the years six times No1 and five times runner up, I have given evidence of their proud shipbuilding heritage, in reply all I hear is that half way through season 2013/14 Newcastle are above Sunderland in the league I am sorry I cannot share your enthusiasm/delusion for this achievement, I have tried to think of something and all I can come up with is one Newcastle airport you can fly off to distant lands, your Central Station with a train leaving Newcastle every few minutes , got to be a plus and best of all you have the road to Sunderland, can anyone add to this list ? or maybe I could be wrong
