    I hope not ACS , however if we can win today it will allow us to take the Mackems on with a bit more confidence and have a go at them instead of being fearful of not losing.

    Must confess I'm really nervous about today.

    Nothing beats the feeling of a wet wipe.

    The moisture left on the bum provides extra lubrication on the plastic chairs making them extra squeeky.

    I don't need wet wipe to do that, I find that I get the same effect when I sh*t myself every time we go a goal down, that said I'm sure the fragrance of a wet wipe is more acceptable to those around me.

    Looks like there's a dilemma for us. If we win, we might not have a derby for at least a while. If we lose, we lose a derby at home... although we want points ourselves for obvious reasons so I'd much rather lose our derbies than our EPL status.

    Don't want them down, I like the derbies. I think they feel differently about us but I hope they finish 17th every season to be honest. Gardner picked up his 10th booking today so he'll miss the derby. While he's not that good, of their centre midfielders he is one of the better ones, and one of the ones more suited to the derby.

    Gardner doesn't deserve to play in the derby after that tackle, filth which will of course be overlooked by the unwashed. Indeed the response will probably be "yeah but Cabaye is dirty you know"

    Normally I'd be quietly confident, owing to the fact there'd be countless omen defying posts on the Mackem board to anger the fickle gods of fate...

    Unfortunately, they're too miserable to lay off the tissues long enough (... not in that way for once... The circulation of "Sister Weekly" is going through a lean spell right now) to share such monosyllabic monotony <wah>

    Thus I expect a bit of luck either way to swing it. We've not had much of the stuff for a while (*cough* why wasn't the blatant hand-ball, red card and penalty situation brought up on MOTD, never-mind the penalty we could have had for a foul on Shola? *cough*), especially in derbies, so hopefully we're due some.
