Well at least Man City just scored, so looks like we are not back to bottom of the league. We tried for a 0-0 but didn't make it - lost out to a very good goal.
Last weekend we were first to every ball, challenging for every second phase. This weekend we've been yards off it. What the **** happens over the course of a week? Free kick, come on Adel.
I agree it's a tough place to go to but Newcastle are at a very low ebb. Arry should of got us up for it and had a good go. If we'd done that and lost it would have been easier to stomach.
The FK sums up Taarabts shooting for me, never enough pace on the ball unless he manages to hit in 1 inch inside the post.
Usual ..... Ferdinand should never start, Cisse needs to go, Granero should also leave. SWP looking better now than ever. They marked Adel pretty heavy. One the positive Fabio make a contribution.
That's the problem with most of the posters on this Board. Their refusal to blame the players and blame everything on the useless coach we had. I don't understand where this blind loyalty to a bunch of overpaid brats comes from at the expense of loyalty to the Club you claim to support. Quite extraordinary.
Can anyone who watched the game tell me.....did we actually have a shot on target all game, because not a single mention on beeb website.....
I'm convinced that you're not a QPR fan. Not getting involved in your whinging, negative anti-QPR crap. Off to enjoy the holidays!!
Ferdinand and Granero were both very poor, and didn't justify their selection. SWP looked more lively than most when he came on, and should have started. It's not rocket science, he had one of his best games for the club in our first win- why drop him? Perhaps he's got a niggling injury or something and is being protected for wednesday.. Hill was poor, and his hoofs frequently piled more pressure on us by ceding possession to the Toon. (same with Ferdinand) Traore's ability to ease pressure on us with his barnstorming runs from defence was greatly missed. I even though green looked dodgier than he has recently today. What position was Taraabt in? He wasn't as effective as last week.
Can tell its going to get bitchy on here tonight, so I'm checking out. Disappointing performance, strange team selection, but its the home games that will do it for us. See you Boxing Day lads, have a great Christmas.
The fact that you had to trawl through the archives of last season to find an example kind of proves my point. Incidentally, that effort was so tame that Brad Friedel should have been dropped right away by Harry for his inability to chuck his cap on it. Indeed Harry might not be all he's cracked up to be. It looks like he bottled it today just like his predecessor did every week.
