If that is the case and Madley is a Huddersfield fan and ****s us over we need to march on the FA, burn the new St Georges training facility and Wembley to the ground.

In fairness, this could work the other way with him thinking his decisions will be scrutinised for impartiality so he may be softer on us and steer away from controversial decisions against us.

Let's see what happens. The most probable outcome is he will just do his job.

Problem is that it's the old showing there's no bias and being "whiter than white". Stupid appointment. Referee will no doubt just do his job but all the agro to him in particular could so easily have been avoided.

Any controversial decision either way and one set of fans will be up in arms crying it's not fair and bias etc. There was no need if only someone appointing the referees had a brain...scratch that, I take it all back!!!

<laugh><laugh><laugh> You bunch of whining fannies. If we do OUR job the ref won't matter a jot. If we can't beat a half baked Preston side missing a whole defence then we don't deserve to be promoted and deserve to be royally ****ed up the hoop by Madley.

Best quote ever. Never has the Toon Army been better summed up.

So this weekend, anything less than a win for Reading at Forest has them out of the race for 2nd. Anything less than a win for Hudds against Fulham would mean a Toon victory ends the season.

    Absolutely.

Yes we've had a few terrible decisions go against it - some beyond ridiculous - but not enough to excuse us not doing the business over the course of the season, given the squad and manager we have.

Let's just back Rafa and whoever he puts out for the next 3 games and encourage them over that line.

THEN we can judge / moan / praise / cry / celebrate, or whatever.

Although if we do fail then it is all Pardew's fault.

I just think we need to create a more positive atmosphere. These bastards are bottling it bad enough which getting all doom and gloom about refs and handing out ready made excuses etc. There are zero excuses and I personally couldn't give a **** if the ref is from Huddersfield and supports them. He is a professional and will just do his job. He will make mistakes, he will get decisions right. He won't impact on the game to any great degree if we turn up. We have a better team. We are at home. They have a cart load of injuries. Everything is in our favour - lets just go out and spank them <cool>

If you can't tell by now I'm bang up for this game. I reckon we are going to get this done in style. Just to remind you:

    Mitrovic - 2 games vs Preston = 4 goals

Rafa NEEDS to go 4-4-2 against this team. If their 1st choice defence is crocked then there is nowt to lose by heaping the pressure on them from the off. A well drilled defence might cope but not reserves. Yes one or two might step up, bit they are unlikely to maintain discipline & shape and stick to a game plan if most haven't been regulars.

Get Mitro in there with support plus 2 wingers. HOWAY THE LADS.

Aye fair enough but it's not that incredulous, a referee made history in his inability to do his job with us and Burton

I have the strangest feeling we will go 4-2-3-1, try to stifle it for 30 minutes then spend the rest of the match (or what feels like an eternity) cautiously probing a makeshift defence hoping to score. Dunno where i got this from, must've been a bad dream.

    Every weekend.
