Disappointing result for us - sounds like we had a few chances first half but gave away a soft goal from a free kick and didn't have much in reply.

Fulham and Arsenal again I’m afraid. Should have been 2 up at half time and I don’t think they’ve got 2 goals in them.
Somehow I had a feeling that we would not reproduce the form we showed last week. We really should have scored a couple in the first half, and there should have been an equaliser in added time. Newcastle had to win sooner or later, and the way they pushed higher in the second half disrupted us. The stats showed that we had 16 shots, but only 1 was on target. There lies the problem.

Totally put me off my beer last night. Threw it away by all accounts, missing several gilt edged chances. I would be more worried had we created nothing. Must put them away next week.
