No mate. Going to Kefalonia shortly and Mrs Sombrero reckons we had to much to do.

Not that I'm doing anything like.

Going to the Huddersfield game <ok>

Sounds like a classic game of two halves, who was at fault for their goals?!

Badly set up at two set pieces, Sels didn't have much to do. Didn't play as well as first half but still looked the better team 2nd half, think 4-1 would have been a fair reflection. Think I saw someone say on twitter that they are looking for a top 4 finish in Erevisde this year.

I know, optimistic about the season ahead on the look of that Hayden looks a good buy as well.

Hayden was decent but not spectacular. Ritchie, Gayle and Perez the stars for me. Some worries about a leaky defence. I had concerns with Janmaat in attack and defence. Ritchie is one of those players who will run and run and run. You will never say "he didn't give enough" with that bloke, and that is what we need. I think Perez will be key this season. He needs to take control and take it on his shoulders to make things happen, though; no more hiding and hoping other people create the goals. Aarons still looks a million miles from being able to start for us. We need to sign a winger, or two if Thauvin leaves.

Overall, by seeing the team/performance today, we will be just fine in the Championship. It will be a hard slog, as it was last time round, but we will grind out results (rather than score goals for fun) and be at the top end of the league.

This kind of game is always the type that can be tricky. Last game before season starts. All players want to play well and try but won't give 100% because of the risk of injury. We won all our pre season games and that's good. We had a good mix of eve age and ok teams to play against and that's the type of games it will be for the season so it's a good pre season mix. No point in playing top teams to bash morale.
