We've ironically struggled to score goals since Sanchez came in. It has definitely unsettled the team. Martial is one of my favorite players as he rarely wastes the ball when it is at his feet. With Sanchez in, that's now unbalanced. I certainly hope this is only temporary adjustment of the team to Sanchez and of Sanchez to United's style. Mourinho would need work out a system that fits Sanchez and Pogba in without impacting left side for Martial.
Easy, if he is a striker play him through the middle and move Lucky out right (we only have Valencia out there on his own) or, if he is a wide player, leave Lucky in the middle and move Sanchez out right. Do not move Martial from wide left, do not drop Lingard from No10. We have definitely been less of a threat with Sanchez where he is.
A player is booked for unsporting behaviour if they attempt to deceive the referee. If play must be stopped to book or send off a player, it is restarted with an indirect free kick. Smalling dived like the ****ing cart horse he is, indirect free kick to Newcastle. Smalling needs to go imo, he is more of a liability than a defender nowadays. He almost cost us the FA Cup in 2016, only a matter of time before we lose out on silverware because of him.
I guess Lindelof has just been deemed not good enough? Or has vapourised somehow. If Smalling is better, how ****e must he be?
Jose is trying to find the right formula still.. yes Martial should stay at left . and Sanchez play freely behind Lukakau ...with Rash, Mata and Lingard at right.. yes is not perfect .. but at least we get best out of Martial and sanchez Pogba too need to play more upfront, he is wasted as DM we need a left footed winger desperately to play him at right wing
We can't play them all Shwan. Our best formation is, in my opinion, 4 3 3. The midfield three should be Matic Pogba Herrera (or McTominay), with Pogba in the advanced role. If he (Pogba) still isn't cutting it then Mata/Lingard could play this role. The front three should be Martial (left) Lukaku Sanchez (right). This leaves no 1st team place for Lingard, Mata or Rashford but all three should be breathing down the necks of the "1st team" at all times anyway. The sticking point, which was supposed to be solved by the invisible Lindelof, is at centre half. Has always been the case and it hasn't gone away. Ok, if Bailly is fit then he forms a good partnership with Jones but beyond that we're a shambles at centre half. I personally would get rid of Smalling, Lindelof and Rojo and bring back Fosu-Mensah and Tuanzebe while buying a finished article centre half like Chiellini (off the top of my head). We also need a back up right back to put pressure on Valencia. The last thing we currently need is another attacking player given how many we have. Truth is if we need a right winger we should have bought Mahrez instead of Sanchez.
