If we can't beat utter **** like Newcastle then questions definitely need to be asked. I don't get this fanboy give them all a break attitude at all. If they play ****e, which they are, then they deserve the **** that comes with it. **** giving them a break.
****show all round, Jose takes more blame than most. Smalling deserved that goal going in, pathetic dive.
Indirect free-kick for a cautionable offence that's not directly referred to, IIRC. Something like that.
It was as a classic case of Big Time Charlieitis. You've still got to do the donkey work against the bottom teams. Mourinho failed to get his players mentality in the right place.
That was ****ing ****e from us if I'm honest, thats as bad as I've seen us this season. I said at the time that I wasn't sure about it, but Sanchez's introduction to our team I don't believe is an improvement on what we had. In fact we where actually starting to look half decent with Martial on the left, and Mata and Lingard playing too. Now we've just messed around with Martial playing him out of position, and left Mata who is the most technically gifted player we have on the bench.
Absolutely. There was a lack of energy and intensity until after we went behind. It's so disappointing to see Shelvey up for it more than any of our team. A real United side should have that passion to take the game to every opponent, get stuck in and try to score from the first minute. It's a shame we don't have a Keano in the dressing room or on the sidelines to drive the undoubted talented players we have to their potential. Apart from that, Newcastle should have had a penalty, Valencia should have been sent off, Pogba was even more culpable for the goal than Smalling and Sanchez played far too deep.
