Why do our fans keep forgetting that he's ****?

 

No idea. He did a reasonable job at his Champ level, but even then I didn’t like him. He’s got significantly worse since then and has been my most loathed player at this club for some time, even ahead of Fistbumps and Voldemort.

 

I'd say that Gayle did brilliantly in the Championship. Without his goals we wouldn't have gone up.

But he's done nowt since.

 

Give owa man, ****ing Shola could have come out of retirement and scored the goals in the tin pot league to get us out of there. Just don't tell the Mackems.

Talking of new players getting a chance I'm really keen to see Joelinton with some proper coaching and an actual style of play.

Great article in the Chron about him - he's taken a personal trainer and an analyst to try and improve his performances.

Interesting that it sounded very similar at Hoffenheim and he was "running wild like a chicken" before getting a translator - poor lad was trying to have to understand Bruce with no training to know what he was doing.

Gayle will still be here, training with the U23's would be my bet as no championship can afford his wages. I'd send hi on loan to Derby and cover his wages, send Woodman there too and cover his wages. Would be funny as **** if they survived after being shafted in my opinion.

 

Really looking forward to this game and expect us to show much improved possession stats, exert some control on the game and create plenty of chances and even score a few.



I expect I will be sadly disappointed by the end of Saturday as we scrape a 0-0 draw, having played most of the game in our half and not managed to string together a move of more than 5 passes.
