    I agree.

Unfortunately lacelles will continue to hide successfully.. His goal today will ensure he's captain in the championship.

Lacelles is just one of those players you never get rid of mate.

    It's rafas fault actually.

He might actually be useful next season if we go down mind..

This. If Dubs had played it was a convincing win.

We had 23 shots, 9 on target. If this was FM22 I drew 3-3 with those stats I’d have quit and reloaded it.

Let's be real if we lose to arsenal Norwich and Burnley then nufc is down barring a string of miracle results vs the big clubs before January.

If they're 15 points off 17th nobody of any quality will sign no matter what you offer them.

Nufc has to at least be in the mix for 17th come January to even try and entice a few good loanees to try and get the club over the line and into the summer window as a premier league club.

The next 3 games will either give us a chance or see us pretty much dead and buried

Most the 11 would do well in the fizzy.. Tbh I think the correct side should never have been where it sits.

If we go down I think only Dubs Wilson and max would be of any interest to other prem clubs..

Pretty good being at the back of the gallowgate, stood up all game and loads of others were, it makes for a much better atmosphere.

Joe had a great game and was unlucky at the end but a proper footballer can at least reasonably use both feet. If he shoots with his right when he should have it’s 4-3

I’ve seen the goals we conceded and my opinion is this. Darlow at fault for 2. Should be dropped on them alone.

Our wing backs defensively are not good enough.

We created a lot of chances.

    But ultimately we didn’t win.

If we beat Norwich and Burnley we will at least be keeping ourselves in touch, but it's a huge ask.

I reckon if we are within 6 points come Jan we have a great chance of staying up, but it's gonna be tough.

I really don't know what i think at the minute, the next 3 games will give a clearer picture.

How on earth we are still only 5 adrift after no wins is mad.

I hope I'm wrong but I find it hard to believe this side will win games in 2 weeks

Not necessarily it wasn't a certain goal even with his right. As we all know he's isn't a finisher. He wasn't happy with it so he wanted it on his left..

Other players missed Wilson missed one so did max.

If he shoots he makes the keeper save it though and I think he should've just hit it yes, but Unfortunately he tried to make sure and slipped.

No slip and everyone says what a clever dummy and goal. It's one of them.

Not saying you, but people who've been after Joelinton will of course target that miss rather than accept he's been used incorrectly and just say well done without the buts.

Joelinton is going to be a good player for us he's been one of our best players a little while imo but all anyone seems to take note of is poor finishing.. Other than poor finishing he's been a real handful.

Actually enjoyed that game, particularly the first half. Our problems came from the defence playing too deep and, with the central midfielders being more attacking, it left a lot of space between defence and midfield. Brentford strikers were coming short and finding a lot of space.

Hopefully the defenders can play a bit higher and stop that happening. Plenty to admire though going forward and the players seemed to be enjoying it.

Considering on the match day threads you've said you think we're going to beat arsenal 2-1 then not sure about this comment?!

The defence are terrified of being run in behind as don't have the legs to deal with it. They did a good bit on MOTD showing how Liverpool pinned Arsenal back in their own half. I was thinking how much of a stark difference Vs us. Issue is we are simply not mobile enough to manage anything approaching it.

I’m not having a go at Joe alone, it just annoys me that well paid players who train all week even need to think about using their “wrong” foot. It costs goals in a lot of games.
Joe was our top player yesterday and yes I agree if he had scored no one would have given it a thought. Hopefully he will continue with this form.
