We totally need to keep him in the team though. Unfortunately the 3 up front are all new to the league, but back end of the season and next season they will be a fair bit slicker. A couple of CMs and I think we can start moving forward.

 

almiron is a tremendous player !!! look at his effort , his engine and attitude rather than his miss today ! he causes teams problems every week

 

Have to agree. We should drop Almiron because his finishing is rubbish and replace him with...who?

Agree with CC. Look at what he brings to the team. He’ll never be a natural finisher but that is more than counter balanced by what he does do well. Once he gets one the gates won’t open but he’ll become more confident and he’ll get a decent few per season.

 

I don't like to wish injury on players but we don't need Lascelles, especially with Schar and Lejeune coming back

If we’d held on against Wolves, we would be joint 5th. Marvellous effort by the team today. Bournemouth are no mugs. We’ve been beaten five times, four of those were by top six sides.
Perhaps it’s time to give Bruce some credit?
Shame we’ve got a week off, the feel good factor is approaching.

 

Almiron was immense. Insanely unlucky to hit St Max, but laughed it off and absolutely worked his bollocks off. They are getting better and, I tell you what, one day it's going to click and we're going to ****ing batter someone.

Joelinton at times showed some incredible hold up play. St Max is fantastic. And we've got depth, this is a team without Schar, Ritchie, Lejeune.

Isn't it lovely to look at a team, to look at the league and genuinely have NO fear of relegation. It's a funny season this one, big teams are dropping and 5th is possibly up for grabs. Europe under Bruce?!
