Nothing you've said is correct. Enjoy your massively successful Season - truly up there with the great Barcelona and Real sides.
For clarity here's the key points because you're clearly struggling. Isak is staying at Newcastle... Correct Newcastle have won more trophies than Arsenal in the last 5 years... Correct Newcastle will be more successful than Arsenal from now on... Correct
You are clearly a very stupid man. Let me clarify for you. This is a guess. It is not correct or incorrect. If I were a betting man I would wager he will be gone within 2 years. This is fact in fact incorrect. Arsenal won the FA Cup in August 2020 - less than 5 years ago. We have also finished above you EVERY Season since then and have therefore won more games in that time. Again this is a guess. It is not correct or incorrect. Subjectivity.Noun. The fact of being influenced by personal ideas, opinions or feelings, rather than facts.
It already is correct What have Arsenal won since last Sunday or since I posted... Nothing? and Isak is still at Newcastle. All that effort to defeat yourself August 2020 though
Man Utd have won infinitely more than us in recent years and we don’t even care about them. For a team to matter to Arsenal it takes more than fans trying to drum up interest with wind up banter. As I say, you need to find some rivals that care about you
You two don't seem to comprehend what's taking place. I've noticed you're peddling a notion you can sign our best player at will, so I'm enlightening you that you're not getting Isak and that's the bottom line. I'm expected you to apologise or at least acknowledge the fact you massively underestimated the project at Newcastle when the penny drops this summer. We'll see if you've got it in you.
I’ve no real clue what’s being peddled. I’m just telling you I don’t care about any of it because it’s Newcastle. I care about Newcastle about the same as West Ham, Villa, Brighton etc. ie not at all. None of you are our rivals. If we sign one of your players who’s brilliant, great. If we don’t, couldn’t give a ****. If you win a trophy, couldn’t give a ****.
I know you don't know what's being peddled and that why I tried to clarify. Lets just wait and see how it unfolds now we've all shown our hands.
I don’t know whats been peddled because I’ve forgotten most of it because it involves a team I don’t care about. I repeat, go and build a rivalry with a fans of a team that cares about you. You can’t achieve good wind ups or rub in victories/trophies or give banter about who’s better than who with a set of fans of a team who just find you irrelevant. Find a rivalry with fans of a team who care about Newcastle. We’re arsenal. You’re Newcastle. We don’t have admiration for you. We don’t begrudge success you might have. We won’t care if we sign all of your players or never any of your players ever again. We just don’t care about Newcastle. Find rival fans that do. Spurs fans I’ve got time for banter and windups because of the north London rivalry. Chelsea have the London angle and CL that we don’t. United just about still because of the 90s and 00s battles. City and Liverpool because of recent top quality. Everyone else? Don’t give a **** about them.
And if you were a Chelsea, United, city, Liverpool or spurs fan I might be vaguely interested in your outlines. As it stands though I’ll file your ideas in my brain alongside those of West Ham, wrexham, reading and Yeovil fans
I never mentioned them, so that's in your Imagination. It's made me aware that you're harbouring something in your feelings.
Why do you need to mention them? The discussion isn’t about those football clubs. Simply that you don’t support them which is why I don’t care about what you say.
I didn't mention them, because it's not relevant. It's only you that's talking about rivalry for some strange reason. Incidentally when people say they don't care about something it's actually concrete evidence that they do, but how your brain works is a conversation for another day. I'm making a very basic argument that Isak isn't for sale and also implying Newcastle will be more successful than Arsenal over the coming decades. You can disagree, but waffling about your feelings is odd.
The point about Isak is fair, but the bit I've highlighted is not. Dude, no offence, but you've won 1 domestic trophy in 70 years and the trophy you've won is like the least significant one. I have no doubt Newcastle will be more of a threat and better placed to challenge than they were previously, but to say you 'will' be more successful after winning a League Cup and not finishing above us for God knows how long? Yeah, you lot still have a lot to prove yet. Winning a League Cup and riding on the crest of a wave doesn't change any of that. You may be rich on paper, but you're not considered a huge club that will win trophies. And you have a long way to go until you prove you do.
Just to provide a wider context: The last time Newcastle won the league? 1927. The last time Newcastle won the FA Cup? 1955. The last time Newcastle won the League Cup prior to last weekend? Never. The last time Newcastle won a European honour of any level? 1969 (Inter-Cities Fairs Cup). The last time Newcastle finished ahead of Arsenal? 1997. I get why Newcastle fans are so giddy and excitable, but it appears some are getting well above their station. They're a mid-tier club who haven't built up the gravitas, respect or history required to be in conversations they think they deserve to be in.
Thank you for acknowledging the 1st point, and while I accept why you've opted to disagree on the second, I'm afraid you'll soon realise that I'm going to be correct on the second. I don't wish anything bad for Arsenal, but I'm stoic in my assessments on these matters. You're a sound bloke I can tell
Look, if you're right, then fair enough and in fairness, I've always believed that with the right backing, Newcastle could be a serious threat. But you're going to need to prove more over a sustained period of time for me to be convinced that Newcastle are going to be the (frequent) disruptor to the top-4/5. As you may or may not find out, the difference between trying to go from 6th/7th/8th to 4th, and trying to go from 2nd to 1st, well, the gulf is huge and the margin for error is watertight. As for Europe and the domestic cups, like I said, you're not established enough/regular winners in those competitions yet. Let's see what happens over the next couple of seasons. I'm not as assured as you are that Newcastle will be overtaking Arsenal as a general rule of thumb. Not anytime soon anyway.
