i expect it to end 0-0 or 0-1 and us to put in another embaressing performance
However, I'm behind Pards for the weekend cos in fairness we were always guna lose against City.
BUT WE HAVE TO SEE AN IMPROVEMENT IN THE WAY WE ATTACK
even if we lose, watching a game where we amass more than 4 shots per game would be like prozac

My best mate is a Hammer!! So will be streaming it on a projector with a few beers.

I have it 2-1 to us. Think people are blowing the City game out of proportion.

aright for some,my housemate's a Hammers fan but isn't back at the house yet. After having to watch those two games with him last season I'll be a little miffed if we win and i can't gloat face-to-face
Still, watched the 4-4 with an Arsenal fan. When we got the stream up it was 3-0 in 20 mins, remember running round my halls like a deranged lunatic come tiote's goal

If we lose, play **** and the attitude of the players is as bad as against man city can we then claim doom and gloom and you then eat humble pie?

For the record I think we will win. I really hope the performance is there thats as important.

Carrol is not playing so I believe they only have Maiga (ex interest) as a recognised striker.

    COME ON TOON!

0.2 west ham, Nolan to score, three points towards the championship !!!

We are just a complete disgrace and not fit to be called a football club !!!

I guess the atmosphere will be aggressive towards the end of the game and everyone will be like what's going on this is shocking raw raw raw
However to most its obvious what will
    Happen.

Most of the players ain't fit to wear the shirt,

Lookin' forward to the post-match blame game. I'm guessing the three main ones will be no striker (not Alan's fault), no Cabaye (not Alan's fault) and no Jonas (not Alan's fault). Possibly tiredness might be a factor and I daresay Wenger is also partly to blame for getting beat at home off West Ham. Again. However, none of the reasons will be anything to do with our aimless formation, playing players out of position, failing to instill either one of confidence, motivation or a game plan...and so on...

well, here it is Match Day

this is the first time in I don't know how many years that I haven't bought the home shirt
I simply will not pay any more money till the fat Bastard(s) start spending money
at this time in the morning I've not got the buzz that you usually get on the first day (at home)
maybe and hopefully this will change nearer kick off

Newcastle is like a drug, it can make you high, but lately it's been kicking you where it hurts
I just need a pick me up, and the only way they can do that is with 3 points today

Pardew's 100th game in charge, feels longer.
First home game and just no buzz, hoping things improve.

Whoever scores first will win this game.

If they get it then our confidence will hit the floor and the crowd will get on Pardew's and the teams back. If we get it it'll settle us down and everyone will be a bit more relaxed.

This is it for me, we can go one way or the other. Big day for the players. I think they are still fragile confidence wise. This is when you need people to step up, lead from the front. I wish we had Nolan in our ranks! Putting selections, formations, who plays where and tactics to one side, sometimes the players have to do tings for themselves. Colo has a big part to play.

What do you think about Cabaye? I think he should start.

    Yes, he should start.

He should show that he is a professional and act as such.

I'd like to start him but its a big risk. Not playing last week was a disgrace on his part, completely unprofessional. If he has a small amount of respect for the club and its fans, he'll be professional and give 100% until a move is a reality. Still seething personally, very poor for me. If Pards has any doubt then leave him out. I wonder what sort of reception he'll get? I don't believe in booing so I wouldn't (seems counter productive to me) but a lad I know who sits in the Gallowgate says he's gonna give him dogs abuse <laugh>

Wont buy it simply because of the Sponsors name. First one in many years that I haven't bought. I have ordered a '99 top that I intend to get ALBERT 27 on.
