Pardew needs to strt to protect our players by growing some Fergie balls and highlighting these tackles!!!!!! there were 4 or 5 in the Villa game.

Good performance, we just ran into a good side with a very special talent. Hope the Gouf is fine but no problem with Walkers challenge at all. Cabayes was a bit naughty but no more than a yellow, he was just late. Overall I thought we did well, and played well for long periods. Gouf going off gave them the impetus to kick and Bale took a grip of the game, won it for them.

Good news about the Gouf. I feared he had a broken leg. Hopefully he might miss just the one game.
We are getting done for pace on one to one's against Colo so hoping Mbiwa has a blinder on Thursday to really shake them up.

I thought Newcastle did very well indeed today and certainly made things difficult for Spurs.

But on balance, I think Tottenham did just about enough to deserve the win today - Bale is simply unplayable at the moment!

The best of luck for the rest of your season.

I see Spurs had their biggest gate of the season yesterday 36,244, I thought they were getting better gates than that though.

Highest of the season at White Hart Lane beating the 36,180 for the Reading fixture.

Thought it was Tiote that told them when they should attend games.

Yeah, it was enjoyable to watch, and I'm much happier now we're playing some decent football. Just hope we produce the same against those around us and move away from the drop soonish.

Never heard anything so stupid. Not a mention of Cabaye escaping a red though I see.

Thought you guys played well yesterday but your set up in the second half was always going to play into the hands of our fast attackers, which Bale demonstrated time and time again. I guess it depends how you judge a game as to whether you think you deserved a point but when you look at the goalscoring chances I think we created quite a few more and Bale and Caulker both missed sitters so I thought you were fortunate. I don't think of that as a criticism of your players though, I think Pardew set you up naively making it easy for us to counter you, especially in the second half. Must admit, whilst Krul did make some great saves I thought he looked shakier than I've seen him before, maybe it's just because I rate him very highly but I was quite surprised to see him fluffing several kicks, missing the ball from a corner and I thought some of his positioning was questionable, although they didn't cost you.
