I am well revved up for Sunday. There must be a sending off somewhere. Tiote is our usual candidate but saylor is always capable of something daft and Janmatt is a proper hard nut so he needs to keep a level head. Got to win this one!

Am really looking forward to this. Can see it being quite a tight game. Sunderland are not scoring freely but look to be quite good defensively. The only time Gus doesn't keep it tight at the back is when he is decorating the changing room floor. We look a good defensive unit when Williamson not involved and look much more creative up front now. Going for a 1-0 to Newcastle.

Now that's not very nice. We need cheering up. The very least your boys can do is let us hammer them on Sunday. The very least!

According to the BBC we are after an emergency keeper as Alnwick is now injured and Pardew says it cannot be right to put a 17 year old in goal in the Premier League. Unfortunately, you're only allowed an emergency loan if you only have one fit keeper and Darlow still counts as a fit keeper even though we cannot recall him from his loan.

If this is the case then we could well have our 5th choice keeper, a 17 year old, in goal for the Derby with a schoolboy keeper on the bench. What the hell is going on???

Crazy! Surely you still need a registered goalie on the bench too? Even the FA and EPL must have some sense! Surely! No?

Pards also indicated that Sissoko is "a big concern" for Sunday! FFS!

Can only comment from personal experience when Danny Blanchflower ( One of the greats ) when playing against Sunderland described the Roker Roar as " Frightening in its intensity "

It's always a ****e week for that feral scroate Poooyet isn't it?- as long as there's a dressing room floor in the local vicinity.

The Mackems seem overly confident they will beat us now.

Plenty to book mark on their board if they don't.

Will Smug return from exile once again? That knacker does more reversing than the Gus Party Bus.

Doubt you'll find much overconfidence TBH. It's shaping up nicely though. But we pretty crap before the last two at your place and we all know what happened at the O3 Arena then, don't we? :)

Having lost 2 games on the trot, albeit away from home against 'better' side, can we take comfort from this?. If anything the reaction will be to try harder at home? I have to confess I was surprised that Pardew did not put out a stronger side for the Spuds game, as it gave you a chance of following us to Wembley...

The nerve jangling of a build up to a derby.

Couldn't understand why Sissoko wasn't subbed the minute he went down and looked in pain, The game was gone yet Pardew let him carry on rather than think about Sunday's game and the importance to the local community. Once a muppet, always a muppet.

If this was one of the 'big' clubs they would let them bring in two ****ing keepers.

Imagine the doom that will be upon us if we lose this. At least the team picks itself, though tiote will play and that's a big worry unless the good tiote turns up.

    So , got to be

    ?
    Janmaat, colo, dummet, haidara
    Tiote, colback, moussa
    Ayoze, cisse, saMmy

Not sure if anyone is out from that line up as haven't looked, and ayoze should really be up top as he's earnt it but needs must (ayoze is utter class btw.) Also worried that willo will play as pardew tries to be too defensive based on the keeper situation

...Actually just realised saylors back so shift dummet over. I'm actually quite happy with that (though the keeper situation is atrocious) and then there's the worry of saylors sporadic lunacy..

Potential doom and whatever though, I'm nervous as fk but can't wait and this is what footballs all about isn't it

Mate , no offence here, but I saw this massive meltdown thread where you left this forum never to return. There have been numerous other meltdowns on your board over the last few years as well..and they all come scurrying back it seems. Why do you bother? At least when our lot had that collective meltdown they left and made their own forum, never to return..

So my question is, what do you think of the word meltdown?

1 Who? Quotes? Links? Genuinely interested to know. I Can't recall anyone being overconfident that's all. Plenty of tongue in cheek comments. They're daft for showing that attitude like if there has been Overconfidence.
