That's what Poyet told his boys pre-match. We sliced you open enough times, leaving the hacking around to your dodgy gobblers.

I can and will. Aside from casual disregard for the rules, we also had to contend with the fact we had a midget in our goal, while you had a giant. He didn't even dive to save Sissoko's effort, which was 15ft from his starting position, he just toppled. How's that even fair?! Jak should have been in 3ft nets.

    Hahahaha.

Some boy Pants like, I did tell you on about page 4 of this thread.

Was a great game I felt, non stop, battle. You probs shaded it on stats but as away team I felt that evened us out, we certainly had better chances.

A draw would have been fair, and I'd have took it at 80 mins, but **** fair. Life's not fair.

    Haha,

Second what Disco says, credit to you all for taking it well, I guess you are used to it by now like....

He does look a bit below average that keeper of yours mind, felt we should have been having a few pot shots until Gomez did and damaged the moon.

    Colo was dirty
    Cattermole was very dirty
Larson was cheating at every opportunity

Fair play to the Mackems- they won though.

    Interesting observations.

Is Cisse really injured? I was pleased to see him not on at the start, compared to our start where even before the game began we lost the only LB (who is really a RB) in the club.

We should have scored more, you had the ball more but we created better chances. The only really bad foul was Colo's on Fletcher, could have been a red. Catts probably was not a yellow his rep got him booked. Saylor never lets you down and for this game he nutts a post.

Overall the game could have 2-4 in our favour.

We have to try and catch you in the league you are 4 p[oints ahead!

Well, that was a hell of a finale to the match. Not went the way that I had wished but, nevertheless, it was one heck of an ending to the game.

Top marks to the Sunderland 'keeper. That was a world class save his, dare I say it, "Montgomery Moment". But hats off to the way that the counter attack produced that goal; I was impressed by the level-headedness of not going for glory but laying off the last pass.

Can't argue with the result at the end but it was good to watch though it would be nice to take a point or three sometime. Preferably soon.

Disappointed and a draw was probably a fair result. You have to say though, their keeper was excellent. We never convinced we were gonna beat him. Young Perez just didn't have his shooting boots on.

I do think we look like two very average sides as I've said all season. Bottom half for both but no relegation.

Could have went either way, we came out on the wrong side of it, just the way it goes.

We started brightly, but after about 10 minutes things started to unravel; we picked up three quick bookings, there was a lack of confidence in the keeper and the defence kept being drawn out of position. Sunderland dominated for a good 45 minute spell before we really started taking the game to them in the second half. They looked way better organised, but we looked marginally more inventive.

All in all, the mackems probably had more of the play and the better chances. Sissoko and Perez were by far our best players on the park today.

Did not reckon our keeper was that good, Perez shots straight at him and sissoko's was over the bar.
