Regardless where we end up this season, this team is way better coached than any team ive seen us have in the last 10 years. Theres movement, people know where theyre supposed to be, where to run to receive a ball. There's movement all over the pitch and link up between the lines. Dare I say we have something that resembles a playstyle now?

Early days this season but it looks promising - more so than I expected after our Championship campaign and summer transfer window. Still, I suppose I shouldn't find it too surprising that you can get quality when you pay out big wages for a Champions League winning manager who has had success throughout his career... Rather than the likes of Kinnear, Carver, McLaren or Pardew. Shame it took so long for Ashley to appoint someone competent.

Just goes to show in relation to the transfer window you could argue a better GK and striker, we'd be out of sight.
Such a shame that Joselu didn't bury just one of his chances at least. I don't think a game against Stoke is the game to judge him on though. He's trying too hard to make a point. It's a bit like when Mitro gets a chance after several games out. He just doesn't relax in front of goal.
