Ignore the petty jibes AB....you and I used to enjoy proper telly.

I'm actually not joking....Torchy the Battery boy was a favourite of mine.

I think Shola will be up top given the oppo. No way he can play two in a week so you'd have to imagine that is why he missed out in Europa. Sensible to utilise Sissoko like he did as he has the presence. However I'd be happy to see him back in the number 10 role. I think Hatem will rightly drop to the bench. You have to keep the team fresh.

    Elliot
    Debuchy
    Santon
    Mapou
    Saylor
    Tiote
    Cabaye
    Sissoko
    Jonas
    Gouf
    Shola

Very impressed with Pardew and his use of his new found options. Big game for us. Not a must win but I think it could have a big bearing on how comfortable the closing weeks are if we do.

Agree 100% about Pardew,I thought he played a tactical blinder in mid-week. I may have to re-consider my Cisse hattrick prediction if he doesn't start through illness.

He might have more of a chance if he's not playing.

I think that is generous :D

I just feel they protect him a bit more now, knowing his frailty and the way he plays. I'm not a fan but think Stoke could be his kinda game to be honest. Batter them for an hour and then Hatem can come on for half an hour, lift the crowd and take the game away from them as they tire.

Afraid I've never been a TV lover Jim, just the football and occasional other sport and that's it for me. Just can't stand soaps, it would drive me crazy if I had to sit and watch those every day.

I guess it's different seeing as you grew up so long before TV had been invented.

Yes I guess I was lucky, spent my time out in the fresh air playing footbal and cricket instead of staying indoors watching the goggle box.
