Most Saints fans I have met have been great and true footy fans. <ok>

Thanks for that Obi Wan........Probably 99.9% of our fans would give you no trouble win or lose. We may not have one of the biggest fan base, but we are getting there slowly but surely and moving up in the status world.
Like all clubs we have our idiots, but in the main we are proud of our tradition of being a family club. From the reports I have heard from the returning fans, Newcastle were unlucky not to get anything out of the game. As for the penalty shout in all honesty there is just the saying that comes to mind " I've seen them given " Saints were lucky perhaps, unbiased views are mixed. As they say though over the season the bad calls are usually evened out yesterday it was our turn for the luck, Yours will come, the balance leveled. <ok>

I thought we were just beaten by a very good side who are incredibly well organised. They were nothing flash with ball and indeed we have had a very large amount of possession. MrTiote got it spot on, we huffed and puffed but couldn't work out a way to break them down. We are missing our players who make the difference. Aarons and Obertan are badly missed. When Sissoko is not really at it, we look a bit devoid of ideas. We also need a big man to give us a different option. Pelle showed us what we were missing.

Haidara is just so average and bizarre. He beat Clyne a couple of times and put quality in. Then at other times he couldn't control the ball and just looks a bit ******ed. I thought Janmaat let his friendliness with Elia get in the way. Gave him too much space and would have been more aggressive normally. He should have slid to block the first, and should have handled the 2nd situ better. Krul still should have stopped the first. Gouf is clueless. Ayoze looks in need of a rest. Cabella is still too feeble and easy to dispossess.

Overall we were not terrible. Southampton were no great shakes but they had a plan and were well drilled. That youngun Reid was impressive.
