Newcastle United v Norwich - Official Build Up / Matchday Thread

Jackson is normally the 2nd striker under CH so I am expecting him to start again later today. He is fast and can be handful for defences but rather prone to being caught off-side too much, as shown against West Ham last weekend in the first half.

He doesn't score anywhere near as many goals as we would to see and were not sure why this is, seems it could be a confidence thing. In the Championship promotion season he rarely scored before February/early March, after that he could not stop scoring and even bagged two hat-tricks in a month.

Anyhoo, best of luck today mags and here's hoping for an entertaining game regardless of the result

 

ffs looks like I'm gonna be in pain getting to the match today.

Smashed my leg off the wall last night whilst taking my dog out. Didn't seem like much when I did it, but it ****ing kills this morning.

Had to limp to work.

Nah, working another 3 days before I can drink again lol.

 

Get it amputated and get a wooden one. Wooden ones don't get hurt or cause any pain.

Seems like ages since our last home game, Sundays aren't my favourite, but at least it's not a late ko.

I really hope we don't play Willo today. I think Norwich's front men are dangerous and will give him a really hard time physically. I would personally rather play Perch as he has a little bit more pace and a better leap on him, maybe because he's smaller it looks like he jumps higher than Willo or maybe because white men cant jump but either way hope Perchinho get selected a head of Willo for CB.

 

You can bet your bottom $ that Norwich will be pumping high balls over to their hitmen. At least we should be better prepared for them this time.

 

This for me too! With Willo at CB I will be chewing my fingers (after the nails have gone) all match.

Hopefully Tiote is fit enough so we can move Perch from DM into centre back, with Anita at RB. Then I'd feel a lot happier.
