Disgusted but if we hadn't have sold/loaned all our defenders we might have had a chance.

FFS! How to lose a game in. Almost hilarious, yet so frustrating.

Should have had a penalty, and if Cisse and Manu hadn't fluffed their lines could have knicked it.

Real shame. A draw was fair, just about. Rooney was onside, stonewall penalty for us. If we'd won, it would be hard to argue against, with clear chances for Cisse and Riv.....Riv...no, I can't say his name anymore, he disgusts me, awful, awful player.

That we could have easily beaten Man U with 9 men - Obertan/Ameobi were both disgracefully bad - is as much of an indictment of Man U as I can give. But we lost. Again. So did QPR, Burnley and Leicester. Bottom 3 nailed on, we're a shoe in for 15th-10th, roll on next season.

All in all things look really, really ropey. Yet again we stare at the Summer hoping some of the £50m we made will be spent on competent players, yet we're all aware that Obertan will be somewhere in or around the matchday squad in August.

So predictable, but so wonderful to see Jonas back in a black and White shirt.
We are so weak and lacking in depth, it wasn't until they scored that we decided to step up and have a go.
Shame that Rivierre could not make the most of his chances, have to wonder if Pereze would have buried one of those?
And what's with Cisse? Getting very tetchy recently, maybe he isvas frustrated as everybugger else.!

That would have been a useful point as then we probably need only one more win. You have to understand I have no faith in Carver and the next win could be a long time coming. I just want to get to safety as quick as possible but this team looks threadbare. A win against a poor Villa team although vital in points, doesn't mean we are any good. We rode our luck tremendously throughout and I feel sorry for Krul for making the mistake. Nice to Jonas but he should have been brought on for that **** Sammy, not Raylor. Asking a guy who not only isn't fit and has had cancer, to play at left back of which he was never any good, was a ****ing stupid decision by Carver.

Spot on, it would have been a useful point, but more importantly it would have given everyone a huge and much needed lift.
There is nothing to play for and it shows. Carver doesn't seem able to lift this team and has no personel to change games.
I for one will be glad when this non season is over.

    Totally agree with everything.

I can only assume Raylor was struggling with injury, of nog yet ready for a full 90 midweek after the weekend game. Jonas could otherwise have added some grit and experience in midfield with simple Sammy coming off sooner.

we are frighteningly thin in squad depth and embarassingly lacking in quality.

Raylor was basically treading water at the end
watching him having to track back for the lazy twat Ameobi

and I also called the shots regarding the ref, penalty all day just in front of us
with a non existant lino doing jack ****
nice to see the ref get his instructions through to his team

    Very unlucky to lose tonight.
Wouldn't fault the team effort, with some of the players treading water towards the end.
Just a shame we could finish them off, when the chances came.
The Manc Referee didn't help one bit throughout, and the non-penalty was a piss-take.

Riviere - Personally I wouldn't have in the team, I don't think he's up to it from what I've seen to date, but, I can understand why Carver picked him.
But, he needs to be given a chance, otherwise, we'll never know if he's good enough or not and it would be more decent money down the drain.
For that reason, I think Carver has to stick with him for a few more games.

Jonas coming on was a good moment. <ok>

Why?? he committed a foul,so he was booked. Do you have some sort of dispensation cos he's just come on?? Or are you saying its okay for jonas to commit a foul because he's been ill and the referee should just let it go??
