That’s fair. He’s walking into a no win situation so I totally give you that. In fact. I am going to say sorry. You’re probably right. He’s actually got a harder job than Eddie had. In fact he has. Ok sorry mate I actually retract some of what I have said because I have thought this through. RA has walked into a ****storm. A mess of all proportions. And he can’t really win can he. But it is still nice to see right.
I think you're now understanding me mate and I respect you for acknowledgeing my opinion. I wouldn't go as far as to claim I'm right yet though because he might just be really **** and never improve. It's just differing judgements we're making mate and nothing is decided yet.
I have seen improvements in man united recently like I've said in terms of organisation and performance, Sunday wasn't their focus, and the significance of having no money won't show until he gets it.. This is the crux of my argument for Amorim and why judgement should wait. If others don't what to wait fine, but I am. 150 million is a ball park figure, he certainly had around that number including fees. If Howe got nothing we would have gone down. The real Improvement came after that spend and without it, we'd have been relegated with Howe or not. We certainly would'nt have seen the rise without investment. The change after the biggest spend in the takeover was significant, so Man United and Amorim need some too imo.
Their haven't been any improvements in Man U under Amorim because they've been massively worse under him than previous managers. The argument that he's had no money just isn't true because he spent £25m on Dorgu in January. In addition to this they've lost one of their best players in Rashford under Amorim. Trying to argue Man U have improved under Amorim is like trying to nail ice cream to a wall.
I can’t say I’ve seen improvements there tbh although that can be down to opinions. Usually all managers deserve at least one transfer window probably two barring disastrous form. He’s right in the middle. Failing to solve the Rashford situation could cost him. Sure we spent about £100M that window.
We kind of agree then on getting backed in a window. Rashford and that kind of stuff will take time to address. I actually understand now why Howe places such a big importance on character because once a disease comes in it can spread.
There’s another player with a bad attitude. We won’t sign Cunha either. Did anyone watch the Liverpool match on the weekend. When Liverpool scored the first Jota was in the box waiting for a cut back which came but not to him. It went behind him to Diaz. Jota didn’t even smile or celebrate. He’s was gutted that it wasn’t him that scored.
I love the smug celebration, like something might do when scoring the winning penalty in a shoot out, not really a celebration for a 37th minute equaliser. Celebrate like that and you're always setting yourself up for failure....like when you lose 4-1 lol. I think we have a chance for Cunha, but Huijsen is unlikely.
