I actually think we might just give it a good bloody go. Technically we are no where near them but on a work rate level we will be. Flood the midfield. Cheeky fouls here and there and we might just nick something. Worse case scenario we concede early giving it a go and then we just revert back to shutting up shop to keep the score down. Either way we won’t lose any sleep losing it so let’s just enjoy the show. Peace out home dogs!
Expect Saivet not to start. He only played in the last game because Rafa likes to rotate the squad so they don't play too many minutes during a busy period.
crowd has to stay with us .....u never know , we are at our best , when we are expected to get hammered at home
the crowd are at their best when a couple of dodgy decissions go against us I expect the same tonight from Marriner
Arsenal 4-4 Wednesday 8-0 Mackems 5-1 Man Utd 5-0 Very surprising performances can happen from time to time people. It’s been a while..
If the game is beyond hope I expect people to head home early more so than usual. It is bitterly cold outside and many will want to get to the pub or home to warm up. I reckon the atmosphere will be fairly rocking at the start though. Just have to see how it goes.
Hoping no Shelvey tonight. His highlights reel for this season would heavily feature **** fouls and him continually pointing at open spaces.
I'll be there till the end mate, as always I'm lucky my works is only 800 yards fromn the ground so the heating is on and refreshments and food in the kitchen
NUFC.com say: "Jonjo Shelvey returns following his two game suspension, while Isaac Hayden and Mikel Merino are both available after sitting out the visit to West Ham. Injury sidelines Aleksandar Mitrovic and Jesus Gamez while Florian Lejeune is also expected to be missing." Could be Merino and Hayden for their defensive qualities.
Elliot; Yedlin, Mbemba, Lascelles, Dummett, Manquillo; Murphy, Shelvey, Diame, Aarons; Joselu Playing a back 5. Some interesting selections there! Dummett back in the side!
