    Spoke to a City fan today who is genuinely convinced we will win. He reckons they ain't bothered about this cup one jot like.

    Tickets for the game seemed to be moving quite well when I was in the Club shop today.

    There was even a couple of Citeh fans getting some. Guess they must be working in the area.

    Not bad for a Wednesday night in a competition that isn't highly thought of.

    I managed to get my regular seat.

    That would be a good day of sales for the Evening Chronicle.

    don't think they can, it has to be the same price as the Home tickets in that given area (Leazes End Level 7)

    you may have sold out your allocation, but I've heard nothing about a further allocation and neither has your website
    you would of thought they would be advertising if they had more

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Cash only turnstiles will be in operation before Newcastle's Capital One Cup tie against Manchester City.

    United are looking to progress to the quarter-finals of the competition on Wednesday (kick-off 7.45pm), having knocked out Morecambe and Leeds so far.

    And tickets will be on sale on the night from the following turnstiles:

    Gallowgate East Corner - 52, 53, 54, 55

    Gallowgate West Corner - 67, 68, 69, 70

    but you wouldn't want to go there
