When you see the team at present giving sweat and blood for the team it beggars the question why has this not been evident in the rest of 2014.
Young Perez looks like he's gonna be a snip for us, sharp as a pin inside the area and hard to see why Pardew was willing to let Abeid go for virtually nowt, especially on the showing in these last 2 games. Great shift in today and definitely M.O.M. for me.

That was all paper talk about. Pardew said the opposite in interviews. He sent him on loan to improve him. He has improved. Actually a massive thumbs up for Pardew that one.

Better this time with no real dig at the people who pay his wages.

Go to 2.12 for a comedy moment... Pards refers to bringing on Capello rather than Cabella.

"Newcastle midfielder Cheick Tiote, 28, could be in line for a £12m January move to Rafa Benitez's Napoli."

I'd be a little less bothered about this now that others appear to be stepping up. £12m isn't a bad price either.

But... I'd still love him to stay instead!

Right, this is random, but does anyone else think it's more than coincidence that Ashley is doing things like attending every match, going to the dressing room and ever since then we've been utterly transformed......

    ....I'm just saying.

It has been a strange one. Him buying 9% of Rangers, virtually taking control of the club with his loan, everyone saying he'll be buying them and getting rid of us, and yet here he is at every game, home and away. This on the back of us actually doing some investment in the summer. We can argue about whether it was investment or re-investment, but either way we spent money for the first time in a long time. It all seems different, even if we don't know why.

The appeal of Rangers is said to be European exposure without spending a fortune. Well, this season we had a terrible start, faced fan protests and a media frenzy about the club. We're still only 4 points off a European place though and we're in a quarter final. The crazy way this season is going for other teams (apart from Chelsea) might even have him realising that there is more than a little potential here in the club he already owns.

No bearing on results really. It is simply down to coaching, hard work and application. If you are organised and players know their job, the game becomes easier. Quite simply, our coaching and management team have floundered around since Cabaye went. Some of it has been a stubborness with personnel, some to be fair to them has been not having personnel, some can only be down to them not doing their job very well.
